Atlantic Yards
This black and white fine art photograph of the Atlantic Yards train yard that is now Barclay’s Center captures a Brooklyn scene that is now renewed. The Atlantic Yards LIRR train yard was replaced with the Barclay’s center stadium and now Brooklyn is a destination for sports, concerts, etc. Pacific Park is now in the works and there will be lots of new housing and beautiful development in Downtown Brooklyn.
This art photograph shows the industrial steel train roofs reflecting light in every direction. The industrial look of the Barclay’s Center has some aesthetic connection to the LIRR train yard that it has replaced. The name Atlantic Yards has been changed to Pacific Park because of all of the controversy surrounding the development, but the project continues to change the face of Brooklyn. This example of Brooklyn Photography by Daniel A. Norman has been framed and is included in several commercial and personal fine art photography collections.
